butt hurting and thigh burning

yesterday i went biking in S.F. and across the golden gate. it was margerie (margaret), joel, anna, eric, and me. we biked for 8 miles, but it seemed waaaay more to me, haha. but it was really cool, despite the uphill battle right before you get to the bridge. maaan, that was brutal, but it was sooo pretty. my legs were burning and my butt was hurting like crazy tho. i was surprised i was able to ride a bike, :), i was worried about that. the bridge was soooo windy, it was like a wind tunnel. haha, all these serious bikers (people wearing those tight bike shorts--ewwww) seemed to shake their heads at us and told us to move. :( oh well. but the bridge was cool, maaan it's so long. then we got to sausalito and it was a nice city...but definately yuppie town. everyone either drove an SUV, BMW, or a mercedes. we went into toy stores there, and joel bought this really funny keychain. it's a pig, and if you squeeze its body, poo comes out of it. haha ;). eric's hair was all weird cuz of the wind and he fell asleep while people got ice cream. margerie is definately an excellent navigator. anna was really cool, i hope she didn't mind that we got vietnamese instead of soondooboo :). yeah..we had vietnamese for dinner. i was starving, exhausted, and smelly at the end of the day, but it was worth it. although it was fun, i don't think it's something i'm gonna do again for awhile. well...until i get in better shape and not have to walk my bike up those hills. hehe, we went pee in the hyatt too. ;)
