competition

i'm surrounded by econ and business majors in all of my classes, and they're all in business frats, they all have internships at these popular firms, they're all smart. i start to feel inadequate. so i get caught up in this whirlwind and i start thinking that i have to catch up. i hate having to compete with other people. now that i'm a junior, the competition feels even worse, cuz everthing is about the future, job, internships, business suits, resumes. my resume is dinky and i don't even own a suit. :( i decided not to care about this summer. if i get an internship, then great, if i don't, then i'll live. dude, this competition stuff brings out some bad stuff in people. so yeah...i'll let things go with the flow now and try not to get caught up in competing against others cuz it's not worth it.

here, i'll put some of my econ knowledge to use: in the short run, things may seem uncertain and you may feel that this is the worst of times, but in the long run, things are going to turn out all right, and you'll be at your equilibrium point.
